
With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years in the construction industry specializing in civil and structural design, Mr Khor Chee Yong has led numerous high-profile government projects. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Kayangan Kemas Sdn Bhd (KKSB), his profound expertise and leadership have been instrumental in elevating the company's success.
Mr Khor’s educational journey began at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARC). He furthered his education with a BSc (Hons) in Building Construction Management from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Starting his career at Bina Goodyear Berhad, Mr Khor was instrumental in the successful completion of significant projects such as the UEP Housing Development, Selangor Turf Club, and MAS Training School. His exceptional project management skills led him to Fajarbaru Builder Group in 1997, where he advanced from Project Manager to General Manager. At Fajarbaru, he managed a diverse portfolio of government projects, including the National Blood Bank, National Pharmaceutical Centre, General Hospital Radiotherapy Unit, Railway Development at Batu Gajah, and the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), among others.
In 2008, Mr Khor joined Kayangan Kemas as Project Director. His strategic vision and leadership were crucial in securing and executing government and GLC-related initiatives, such as LPT Packages 1, 7, and 8, MITC Melaka, and various government hospital projects including Hospital Umum Sarawak, Hospital Miri, and Hospital Tanah Merah.
